Training and background

I am a psychologist with healthcare authorisation. I work with anxiety, stress, grief and those transitions that leave a mark, from an approach that combines clinical psychology with psychoneuroimmunology: understanding how what we live emotionally shows up in the body, in sleep, in digestion, in energy. Because mind and body don’t process separately.

I know this from the inside too. I have lived away from my country of origin for more than fifteen years, and the hardest part was not the change itself, but adapting and reinventing myself again and again. For a long time I demanded more of myself than I could give, and it was my body that told me so: living with hypothyroidism taught me how stress shows up in health and what it takes to adjust to it. I know first-hand what it is to live with the mind on alert, and how hard it is to learn to bring it down.

Today I accompany other people to listen to themselves before reaching their limit, at their own pace and without judgement. My practice is a place where I understand you without you having to explain everything.

A move is rarely just a move. My work is to make a quiet space for what is there, in the language in which it was lived.
