Therapy
Work with what you think, feel and do.
Individual therapy, online, in Spanish or English. Fifty-minute sessions, with an approach that starts from cognitive-behavioural therapy and adds what we now know about the relationship between mind and body.
The approach
Cognitive-behavioural therapy, including the body.
I start from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), which works on the relationship between what we think, what we feel and what we do: identifying the patterns that sustain anxiety or low mood and practising different ways of responding — and I add what we now know about the relationship between mind and body.
What we look at
What repeats
Automatic thoughts, avoidance behaviours and the emotions that appear again and again. What repeats is what tells us the most.
How we work
Reviewable goals
With concrete, reviewable goals. Sometimes with logs or small exercises between sessions; always at your pace, never as imposed homework.
What we add
The body, not just the mind
Psychoneuroimmunology: how sustained stress leaves its mark on sleep, digestion, pain and energy — and what can be done about it.
Process
From writing to the first session
- 01
You write
A few lines about what brings you to a consultation. Optional and confidential.
- 02
I reply
I tell you honestly whether I am the right person for you, or who to refer you to.
- 03
You book
You choose a day and time on the booking page; you receive the video call link by email.
If at any point in the process I consider that the online format does not meet what you need, I will refer you to in-person care.
